What to Expect
We want your experience to be a positive one at Lucas & Lucas, LLC. Therefore, our bodywork and chiropractic services are scheduled according to the type and time-frame of the appointment, which keeps us on time, even for our afternoon and late evening appointments.
There may be times when you have to leave a message in order to schedule your next visit; usually when we are in session. We ask that you kindly leave your information and we will always return your call as soon as we are able to do so.
If you must reschedule any appointments, please contact us as soon as possible, so that we can book the available time with another client/patient who may be in need of our services. Since our time is limited, your re-scheduled appointment can have a positive effect on someone else if we are informed in advance. One week notice is always helpful.
We do not accept text messages or e-mails regarding appointment scheduling or cancellations.
Clients requiring bodywork comprise the majority of our practice. Our private treatment rooms for these services include lowered lighting, relaxing background music, fresh linens, blankets/pillows/face rests and a place to hang your garments. Our clients remain draped during the session, with only the therapeutic work areas exposed.
We provide a solid range of bodywork, including: swedish/relaxation, sports, range of motion, deep tissue, any combination of those already described and "specific area" therapeutic work.
Sessions are available from 1 to 2 hours in length.

We are happy to provide services for senior clients.
Minors and pregnant women are seen on a case-by-case basis.
We do not see oncology patients or provide oncology/cancer massage, and ask that you please locate a specifically trained therapist for this category.

New Clients and Patients
Please be prepared to fill out some necessary paperwork at your first appointment. And, if you have been referred by your medical doctor, we ask that you have your prescription with you at the time of your first appointment.
∙ Medical Referral Example 1: A client referred by their neurologist may only require massage.
∙ Medical Referral Example 2: A client or patient referred by their orthopedic surgeon may require bodywork and/or chiropractic sessions.
A prescription is not required. However, if you have one, it will inform us of your doctor's specific request.
Our office does not accept insurance.
We Do Not Provide Reminder Calls
We will gladly provide you with a reminder card, but we are unable to provide reminder phone calls.
If you have forgotten when your upcoming appointment has been scheduled, please contact us and we’ll be happy to let you know the date and time.
Please Re-schedule If You Are Sick / Illness Policy
You must cancel your session if you are running a fever, as soon as you are aware of an infectious or contagious condition (i.e. strep. throat, tonsillitis, bronchitis, etc.) or if you have had vomiting or diarrhea in the past 24 hours.
You must also cancel your session if you have a severe cold or throat/nasal symptoms.
If you choose to disregard this policy and come in with any of conditions noted above, you will be charged the full fee for the session and turned away, as once you have scheduled an appointment, all of our other patients and clients have been denied that block of time.
We do not wish to deprive any clients of their needed care, due to what could have been an avoidable illness on our part.
